As we dive into the mindset of potential up-coming business owners we see the thought process to become an owner due to many reasons. First let’s talk about the biggest reason, about 80% of all people want a business to become their own boss, and to get out of being told what to do, but not actually identifying all it takes to be in that position of leadership. The pre-business owner has been fed-up with being treated indifferently by other leaders of management and has the perspective that, being in that position would make things much easier. The other main reason is to have greater wealth, many people live in poverty or their income level is between $50-80k and wants to turn that around and make more than 100k. This is where the mindset is locked in on only creating enough wealth to achieve just $100k, the need for a business owner title is way overrated by people with this type of mindset. Business owners must achieve greater revenues throughout each year to stay up to speed with changes in the economy, if you only seek out to make $100k a year then you're looking for a business where the processes within the business are all held by you.
When you have the mindset of a business owner that only wants create great wealth and revenues in a company and is willing to branch out and create franchises, this is a business owner that’s not afraid to delegate and manage their business to the fullest extent creating not only wealth but, power. These are the achievers in our country!
Try not to be the owner who’s just looking to make paychecks that are over your current pay scale working for someone else, strive to be a business in the community that everyone knows and likes. Shoot for higher revenues at all times no matter the situation in the current economy, keep and manage employees to target these goals as a business. Your thought process as a business owner must revolve around every aspect of your business, key people in certain positions of every business create and generate greater revenues for the business. Strategy in any market is always key for any business to survive, take at least an hour a day to talk to your leaders in your business to strategize steps for each day for each person to make sure everyone is on track with the set goals for the business. The ability for a company to have met objectives daily is very hard unless you organize your daily meetings around the objective.
